This is possibly the most awkward product review ever. I was skeptical about accepting this product for pretty obvious reasons. However - Nivea is officially one of my favourite brands in maintaining my fair skin, so I decided to give Nivea Anti-Perspirant Whitening Happy Shave a try! I haven't done a control test to test if I would remain fair if I were to stop using their products, but still - they are the only ones that I've used thus far. This anti-perspirant whitening happy shave deals with something that affects the confidence level of a lot of women - dark underarms! This issue can be quite bothersome and difficult to discuss even with close friends, but not to worry, the Internet is here to save the day again as I take you through how to get rid of this issue:
What causes dark underarms?
1. Hormonal changes during puberty and pregnancy. (Please consult your gynaecologist before using any products for safety reasons.)
2. Allergic reactions from anti-perspirants and deodorants.
3. Bacteria/ body hair/tight clothing that causes poor ventilation of underarms.

My experience with Nivea Anti-Perspirant Whitening Happy Shave
Foreword: The anti-perspirant is a white-powdery form when it is ejected from the aerosol can, so be careful not to wear any black outfit that you plan to go out with. It rests on the skin for a while before it dissolves into the skin with a clean, refreshing finish. It bears the classic, subtle Nivea floral fragrance which I love because it is not as artificial as the Dove anti-perspirant which I used in the past.
I have been using this anti-perspirant for the past two weeks with about three days interval (about four times) and I am glad to say that I've seen and felt visible results. The most obvious improvement is the degree of skin irritation post-shaving has gone to almost zero as compared to the usual redness. My underarms have now become less dark than before, although it might take a few more times before it reaches a desired level of fairness. It gives a smooth finish and now my underarms are not something I am embarrassed of. These are the three most important changes that I've noted and appreciated from using this product. Overall, I feel much more confident with wearing sleeveless clothes and also raising my arms whenever I feel like it.
I have also heard about issues about the "unnaturalness" of anti-perspirants because they function to stop sweat by clogging pores, but Nivea Anti-Perspirant Whitening Happy Shave promises a 0% alcohol, colorants and preservatives and it is also made for sensitive skin, formulated with chamomile extract and avocado oil.
