Not running out of dinner choices at Plaza Singapura with Kai Sushi & Robatayaki

I always run out of dinner ideas at Plaza Singapura. Right in the middle of town, how could I? There are a few major F&B brands that I sworn off (ah-hem) but still have long snaking queues which I never thought it was worth it, and then there's a hidden gem called Kai Sushi & Robatayaki which I would willingly part my money for (Almost. It is on the expensive side). Tucked away on the fourth floor of the new wing, this Japanese restaurant enjoys a decent-sized crowd on a weekday evening... we had to wait a little before a table was ready, but fair enough.

This dinner happened weeks ago, andso I cannot really remember the names of the dishes - but certainly the Bara Zuke Chirashi (SGD15.80) left quite a good impression on me, with its fresh and diverse offerings of sashimi that totally made for a wonderful dinner! The maki was also delicious and although not as flamboyant than a certain shiok maki in Orchard area as well, but they were incredibly enjoyable pops for dinner. Kai Sushi hasn't really made waves around my social circle but it is indeed a place that is worthy to visit if you're craving for a consistent, quality Japanese meal.
